To be as helpful as possible here’s some answers to some questions you may have. Please do check here before making direct contact. Thank you.
Q. Can I buy tickets on the day?
Some events are free so please just turn up (first come first served). If the event is ticketed and not sold out then yes tickets will be available on the day depending on availability. Please check this web site closer to the festival dates for updates regarding sales.

Q. I’ve ordered my tickets but they haven’t arrived yet. What should I do?
Firstly we will ask how you bought them post or by hand? Tickets are posted within 14 days upon receipt of payment. Secondly, which venue is the event on at? Please contact the relevant one, ie. Balerno Parish Church or Folk Club dependent on where the event is staged as soon as possible.

Q. Am I eligible for a concessionary ticket?
We have no concessions available but some family tickets are available – see the programme schedule for more details.

Q. I’m bringing my children with me and they are both under 12, do they require a ticket?
Different priced children tickets are available please consult our progrmame for pricing information. All those attending a Festival ticketed event will be issued a ticket for entry and you are required to have one for each person who will have attending with you.

Q. I bought my tickets early and now discover I can’t come, can I get a refund?
We have a no refunds policy. Please see the terms and conditions on the how to book page for more information. However if people find they cannot come, they should let the organisatoin know as there may be a waiting list.

Q. How do I find out when a particular event is on?
Please go to our programme section for more information.

Q. I’m particularly interested in the workshops. Is there any additional cost to attend them?
The price of the workshops are listed in the programme information and are as stated.

Q. I am in a band and I’d like to perform at The Balerno Music Festival. What do I do?
The Balerno Music Festival programme is complete for 2009 but do email us to register interest and someone will contact you in due course. If you are a folk group please conact the Folk Club directly.

Q. I would like to trade/cater at the Festival, can I receive an application?
All catering places are full for 2009 but do email us to register interest and someone will contact you in due course.

Q. What is the policy regarding food and drink at the festival?
You can’t bring your own food and alcohol (age 18+) into the festival events. You can purchase food and drink at each venue where appropriate as well as the Festival social hub - the BPC Hall and St Joseph’s Centre (dependent on day/time).

Q. How can I support the festival?
A great opportunity to put something back into the community is via our new Friends of the Balerno Music Festival.
