Festival Friends

This year’s community run Balerno Music Festival will take place in Balerno over the weekend of Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October 2009 and will be a unique opportunity to enjoy a rich and diverse programme of music targeted at all ages.

The Festival is being organised under the aegis of the Balerno Village Conservation and Development Forum (BVCDF) as part of a proactive initiative to regenerate community life in Balerno. Events are being hosted by Balerno Parish Church, St Mungo’s Episcopal Church, Balerno Folk Club, Balerno Bowling Club and Currie High School.

By becoming a Friend of Balerno Music Festival you will become associated with this vibrant new initiative and help to secure its success and growth into a regular event in the calendar of village life.  You will benefit from a £1 reduction on the price of each ticket you buy for events (NB this does not inlcude ‘Hot Fork’ meals) at this years festival as well as from complimentary tea and coffee throughout the Festival, but most of all you benefit through knowing that you are helping to put something back into the community and to have a good time doing it.
