Balerno and Juniper Green are served by the 44/44A/N44 Lothian bus route to and from the city centre.
Access from the North (Fife) and West (Glasgow) is by following the M8 to the roundabout at Hermiston Gate; turn right at roundabout as if to join the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720) heading South, but take the immediate slip road for the exit for the A71. Turn right at A71 roundabout heading west, turn left (H-Watt Univ, Riccarton) and follow until reaching the A70 at Currie. Turn right along the A70 towards Balerno.
From the South follow the city bypass untill the Baberton exit. Turn right at end of slip road, right at the Wester Hailes roundabout, and right again at the traffic lights at Juniper Green onto A70.

BALERNO PARISH CHURCH
Within Balerno, Balerno Parish Church is on Johnsburn Road opposite the roundabout as you enter Balerno itself. The main door is at the front.
ST JOSEPH’S CENTRE
The St Joseph’s Centre includes the St Joseph’s Hall and the Ogston Hall.
St Joseph’s Hall
Is situated directly beside Balerno Parish Church.
This is beside Balerno Parish Church and behind the St Joseph’s Hall. The entrance can be found opposite Scotmid which is on the Main Street.
GREY HORSE INN
Can be found on the pedestrianised Main street. It is on the right as you go up it.
BALERNO BOWLING CLUB
Is positioned at the end of Ladycroft which is off the start of the Main street on the left.
There is car parking beside Scotmid, behind the Community Hall, at the High School and many of the side streets have no yellow lines. However we do ask you that you park responsibly and adhere to restrictions.
