The Currie Balerno Rotary Club’s local stage of the 2019 Rotary Young Musicians competition was held at Heriot Watt University on Friday 18 January. The winning instrumentalist was 17 year old cellist Benedict Tan of Currie High School and the winning vocalist was 14 year old Shauna Healy of St Margaret’s Academy
Benedict and Shauna will now compete at the Area Final to be held at Heriot Watt University (Lecture Theatre 4) at 7pm on Wednesday 6 February.
Everyone is welcome to enjoy a great evening and help to create a special sense of occasion for the young musicians. £5 gets you admission and refreshments.
